 National List: Nursing Homes Targeted for High-Risk Pressure Ulcer and/or
Physical Restraint Improvement
This resource is a 94-page list of nursing homes identified by the
federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as not meeting
CMS benchmarks for making improvements in their rates of pressure ulcers
and use of physical restraints. The list was compiled as a reference for
a solicitation for CMS Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs). The QIOs
are expected to provide specific assistance to these facilities to help
them improve care in the two targeted areas.
