Frontline: The community mental health and addiction sector at work in New Zealand

Janet Peters published her research in Frontline: The community mental health and addiction sector at work in New Zealand. The aim of her research paper was to describe the Non Government Organizations, the NGO sector, defined as independent community organizations. Also the paper describes key attributes, stimulate interest and encourage increased sector, Government, and funder engagement. This paper will prove that many NGOs are innovators, run successful community enterprises that employ significant numbers of New Zealanders, are flexible, and well-placed to deliver the Government's objectives while meeting the needs of individuals, families, and communities. Some topics of interest in this paper include: good mental health matters to New Zealand, enhancing people's lives, employing a significant health workforce, forging successful partnerships, driving innovation, and measuring impact of care.
