Aligning Forces for Quality: Local Efforts to Transform American Health Care

For nearly a century, the health care debate has been buffeted by forces for broad sweeping change, incremental adjustment, and everything in between. Even as we embark on a new path toward health reform, consensus around how we as a nation should provide and pay for care has not been reached.
