 Texas DFPS RFI 530-09-0002 for Intensive Psychiatric Transition Program
Services
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is
soliciting responses to the questions posed in this request for
information (RFI) to obtain information and gain knowledge that will
assist it in drafting a solicitation instrument for a possible
procurement of intensive psychiatric transition program (IPTP) services
for children in the Departments conservatorship. Responses are due by
February 12, 2008.
DFPS released an emergency solicitation for IPTP services to select
residential treatment facilities meeting pre-defined qualifications in
September 2007. This emergency solicitation presented an initial program
description and serves as the basis for some questions posed by this RFI.
DFPS anticipates that RFI responses will lead to changes to the original
program description when DFPS releases a procurement for additional
contracts with an effective date of October 1, 2008. This RFI will
contribute to development of the procurement.
