 New York Senate Bill S01095 (Telemedicine Access Act)
Enacts the "telemedicine access act"; authorizes the practice of health care delivery, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, transfer of medical data and education using audio, video or data communications; requires informed consent prior to delivery of such health care and confidentiality of information derived there from; requires insurers to provide coverage for telemedicine; authorizes the education department to license the practice of telemedicine by physicians licensed in other states.
