 Why Don't They Listen? Implementing Substance Use Services Into Medical Practice
This presentation by psychiatrist Mark Willenbring, M.D., former director of the Division of Treatment and Recovery Research at the National Institute on
Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism part of the National Institutes of Health was given at the International Conference on Treatment of Addictive Behaviors held
February 7 to 10, 2010. Dr. Willenbring proposed a new model for addiction treatment based on medication and a continuum of care.
