 Maryland Governor's Executive Order to Close Rosewood Center
This executive order, written by Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley closes
the Rosewood Center, a residential facility for people with
developmental disabilities. All residents will leave by June 30, 2009. A
study conducted by Rosewood director found that 153 of the 156 residents
could be adequately served in the community.
