This document details the frequency and types of
mental health evaluations that should be conducted at "well child" visits
for Medicaid-eligible children. It is designed to serve as a brief
evaluation to assess the possible presence of autism, depression, or
other behavioral health disorders. Families are not required to seek
treatment.
