 Sonoma County Mental Health Services Act Prevention and Early
Intervention Plan
The document describes the community planning process, the outcomes
desired, and how funds will be used by Sonoma County Mental Health
Services in California to start an early childhood mental illness
prevention project. The project will also include a school based
programs, and crisis intervention services for first onset of mental
illness in youth. The new services are funded by the Prevention and Early
Intervention component of the states Mental Health Services Act, and
will start in the first half of 2009.
