 Testimony of John C. Wyvill, Division of Developmental Disabilities
Provides an overview of the activities and clients of the Nebraska
Division of Developmental Disabilities. It was presented to the
legislature in response to a legislative investigative committee formed
by Legislative Resolution 283. The committee reviewed documents related
to the provision of services to individuals with developmental
disabilities including studies by the Nebraska Advocacy Services, DOJ,
and CMS. The Committee also conducted informal, unrecorded interviews
with representatives from the federal Department of Justice and the
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
