Staff Screen Tool Kit, Third Edition
This document was released by the Nonprofit Risk Management Center to
provide an updated, practical approach to screening paid and volunteer
staff at non-profit organizations. This edition reflects changes in laws
that regulate the screening process and govern access to records, changes
in technology available to assist with the screening process, and how to
use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal record check. Examples of
screening tools are provided.
