 Florida DCF Invitation to Negotiate To Become the Lead Agency for Community-Based Care in Circuit 17 (Broward County)
On January 6, 2009, the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) released an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN 17-FS-08-09-01) for an organization to be the lead agency for community-based foster care in Circuit 17: Broward County. DCF seeks a contractor to serve as the lead agency for an integrated system of care for children in foster care or at-risk of entering foster care. The contract, valued at $332 million for the first five-year term, will start July 1, 2009 and run through June 30, 2014, followed by an optional five-year renewal period. Proposals are due to DCF by 3:00 pm, February 16, 2009. Award announcements are expected by March 16, 2009.
