ShareNational Health Expenditure Tables 1960 to 2008

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services tracks national health spending for health care goods and services, public health activities, program administration, the net cost of private insurance, and research and other investment related to health care. This document has 13 tables detailing national health expenditures from 1960 through 2008. The tables address per capita spending, aggregate spending, and source of funds. The tables also list spending data for personal health care, hospital care, physician and clinical services, nursing home care, and public program health services and supplies. Data on private health insurance premiums, benefits, and net cost are also included.
