Stewart Bloom, M.S.W., LCSW, Senior Consultant, served as the chief operations officer for Mental Health Associates in Sacramento before joining OPEN MINDS. Recognized as a national leader in behavioral health management, Mr. Bloom's accomplishments and comprehensive experience include clinical quality monitoring, credentialing, contracting, network development, and in-service education and training. Highlights in Mr. Bloom's distinguished career include developing a national marketing plan for Telecare Corporation and serving as associate editor for Behavioral Healthcare Tomorrow Journal. Mr. Bloom also served as national training director/clinical director of United Behavioral Systems and as mental health unit director responsible for the behavioral health division of an 80,000-member health maintenance organization. Mr. Bloom started his career as a staff psychotherapist responsible for clinical triage activities for a 35,000-member center of Harvard Community Health Plan in Boston. Mr. Bloom received both his Bachelor's degree and Master's degree from Boston University.
