Among his many accomplishments with Signal Behavioral Health, Michael in charge of a three-year project funded by the Colorado General Assembly, for designing and developing systems and processes centered on performance-based contracting for substance abuse prevention and treatment services. This project involved creating and managing two NIATx-based change teams focused on improving client outcomes for patients receiving treatment following detoxification services, as well as reducing recidivism rates for offenders with substance abuse issues.

Mr. LaRue started his career with the tax consulting department of Price Waterhouse, where he spent nine years providing finance-related and tax consultation to client organizations of all sizes in a range of industries including health care, technology, energy, construction, and manufacturing. After leaving Price Waterhouse, Michael spent sixteen years in various senior management positions focused on designing and deploying process improvement solutions using technology as a design cornerstone. These positions include a role as chief operating officer at Prizm Solutions, LLC, a third-party administrator and insurer of extended warranty programs. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with degrees in Accounting and Finance.
