Mark D. Berg, Consultant, has over 30 years of experience in the information technology (IT)
field, specializing in IT performance measurement and evaluation, capacity planning, and
financial management. He has designed and managed the implementation of chargeback systems
for large-scale data centers, including government agencies and departments such as the National
Institutes of Health (NIH). In addition, Mr. Berg has developed and conducted numerous IT
workshops on topics such as "IT Performance Evaluation", "Evaluating IT Management
Systems", and "Developing IT Chargeback Systems".
Mr. Berg's publications include "Evaluating Computer Performance," "Developing an IT
Chargeback System," and "Automated Scheduling Systems." He was the founder and first
Chairman of the National Computer Measurement Group (CMG), and a member of the IT
Financial Management Association (ITFMA). Mr. Berg received his Bachelor's degree in
business administration from Temple University.
