Michael P. Bannon

Michael P. Bannon, Senior Consultant, specializes in strategic planning, organizational change, grant writing, strategic management and board development. Mr. Bannon began his career in program planning and evaluation and management analysis with the Federal government. As a management analyst he designed and implemented studies within the Bureau of Higher Education and worked with the U.S. Congress on higher education programs and regulations.

Most recently, Mr. Bannon served in senior development positions with both Carnegie Mellon University and Marietta College, designing development studies and programs to identify and solicit major gifts for capital campaigns. He worked extensively with the Board of Trustees at both institutions, designing and implementing development strategies.

Mr. Bannon graduated from Shepherd College with majors in economics & international relations. He pursued a Master of Public Management degree in non-profit management at Carnegie Mellon University, concentrating in strategic planning and development. He has served as a Board member, consultant, and volunteer for a number of non-profit organizations, including the Juvenile Justice Task Force in Mahoning County, Ohio.
