Jeremy Mann, OPEN MINDS Senior Associate,
brings extensive experience in leadership, sales and marketing, project management, service line reimbursement, and account management. Mr. Mann has designed and implemented a variety of innovative business solutions and successfully developed and executed robust business plans. He has successfully managed high performance sales representatives and also individually achieved superior sales results. Mr. Mann brings an in-depth knowledge of behavioral health funding and reimbursement systems.
Prior to joining OPEN MINDS, Mr. Mann served as District Manager for Janssen Pharmaceutica, Inc., part of the Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies. In this position, he led his teams to consistently improve sales results, while developing innovative approaches to professional partnerships and community collaboration in behavioral health.
While at Janssen Pharmaceutica, Inc., Mr. Mann worked closely with a variety of community stakeholders, including behavioral health provider organizations, key decision makers, billing personnel, county government, and consumer advocacy organizations. He setup multiple provider organizations for long-acting therapy, including facilitating the establishment of protocols for reimbursement/practice operations and providing education around billing procedures. In this capacity, he initiated continuity of therapy programs, resulting in improved discharge/intake processes in multiple mental health systems of care. He also created unprecedented partnerships with advocacy organizations and mental health task forces to enhance awareness and combat stigma. While at Janssen Pharmaceutica, Inc., Mr. Mann was recognized for consistent contributions to numerous marketing and strategic initiatives at the corporate level, served on multiple national and regional task forces, and identified solutions to business challenges through the development and execution of comprehensive business plans. He also received a variety of awards for both his quantitative and qualitative achievements.
Prior to his roles with Janssen in sales leadership, reimbursement, and sales, Mr. Mann worked for Young and Rubicam, where he was the Account Coordinator for Andersen Consulting/Accenture and Campbell’s foods. In this position, he managed the process for out-of-home advertising during the successful launch of Andersen Consulting’s name change to Accenture. Mr. Mann coordinated Campbell’s advertising efforts through project management, competitive analysis, and budget management.
Mr. Mann serves on the Board of Directors for National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Mercer County, NJ where he has provided leadership to fundraising and strategy development initiatives. He received his Bachelor's degree in Public Programs with an emphasis in broadcast journalism/broadcast business management from Arizona State University. Mr. Mann has completed numerous courses and attended training programs in sales and marketing, management development, and account management.
